The Blake Family

Caroline and Matt are such a sweet couple. They are some of the kindest, most warm-hearted people I’ve worked with so far. They have a beautiful marriage and their love is clearly evident in the way they talk to each other and the way they look into each other’s eyes. And they have the cutest little baby, too! Photographing this little family was the perfect end to a busy Thanksgiving week. We hosted my in-laws and did a ton of work around the house while they visited, so meeting Caroline, Matt, and Harper was a great little break from all the craziness.

I had been nervous about having photo sessions in late November because of the dropping temperatures, but luckily the weather wasn’t too cold during our time at Bryan Park. Also, this was my first session using the new camera I recently bought! It was a huge upgrade from my beginner-level camera, so I know I have a lot of learning and practicing to do with it. But I’m excited to grow and see how my photography improves with it, and to show you some of my favorite images from this session using it!

Caroline and Matt, I had so much fun with you two! Thank you for allowing me to capture your sweet little family. I enjoyed getting to know you and I loved hearing about your love story -- you are a beautiful couple and family! And thank you for sharing some of your wedding pictures with me -- I love all things weddings! It was a pleasure working with you!
