The Carro Family
Maymont - Richmond, Virginia
Between the fall-colored trees and the cool, crisp air, the weather during the Carro family’s session was just perfect. It wasn’t easy, or always possible, to make it look like we were the only ones in the park, but it was fun to shoot from some unconventional spots (like in some bushes!) to get the perfect angles. It was definitely a good challenge! I’m so excited to share the fall colors in their family photos.
Meeting Sheryl, Dan, and their kids was such a joy. The Carros are no strangers to taking yearly family photos. I was both nervous and humbled that they chose me as their photographer this year. Sheryl and Dan have been married for seven years, but it seems like they’ve been married for a lifetime -- they are just a perfect couple! Their five kids are all so different but so special in their own ways. The littlest ones had a blast exploring the park, and the older ones were so cooperative. Though the age gap between the kids varies a lot, you can tell they all have so much good to offer to one another.
Sheryl and Dan, I had a great time with you and your family! It was so fun to see how your kids interacted with each other and with you. Thank you for letting me capture your sweet family!
