The Conley Family

One awesome perk of being a photographer is getting the chance to explore beautiful locations all over town. The Conley family just so happens to live in a gorgeous neighborhood with a beautiful, open field just steps away from their front door. As soon as Emily led me to the field where she wanted to have the pictures taken, I knew right away that we were going to have so many possibilities to get gorgeous backdrops for her family’s photos!

Beaming with joy, Emily was so sweet as she greeted me at my car as soon as I pulled up to the house. Her three-year-old son followed closely behind and was excited to show me the big field where we were going to take the photos. Their excitement for their session made me even more excited to photograph them! Not only was the location beautiful, but so was the family. This session was short, sweet, and full of skittles (sometimes you have to bribe kids with something special to get them smiling!). I can’t wait to share some of my favorite images. We even got to see some chickens running around! To be honest, I find birds to be quite gross and sometimes terrifying -- but I have to admit, getting so close to one that wasn’t behind a cage was a cool experience!
