The Engel Family

How cute is the Engel family?! This adorable trio was a dream to work with. They were naturals in front of the camera and nailed every pose that I asked them to do -- even the ones that felt awkward! They were joyful, kind, and so much fun! The week of our session, the weather was looking cloudy and rainy, so we rescheduled for another day. I usually try not to reschedule unless we absolutely have to, and it worked out really well this time because the light was just perfect on the new date! The air was pretty chilly by the end of the evening, but they were rockstars for sticking it out with me!

I love when I get to photograph in a location that holds a special meaning to my clients. Elizabeth and Daniel spent a lot of time walking around Byrd Park together before little Naomi joined the family, so they requested for their session to be in a spot that they love so much. It’s always an honor to capture these types of memories. It was hard to pick my favorite photos, but I’m so excited to share a few from this perfect evening!

Elizabeth and Daniel, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family! Naomi is such a sweet girl, even in the cold! Braving the weather was definitely worth it because these photos of you three are so precious in my eyes.
