I met John Paul when he was just a junior in high school. Since then, we’ve become in-laws! He studied creative writing at the University of Iowa -- a long way from home in sunny Florida -- but he joined me in Richmond for his graduation portraits. John Paul has grown so much over the last six years that I’ve known him, and I just know that he will accomplish amazing things in his life.
John Paul has a big imagination (he’s going to be an author, after all!) and a creative brain, so our conversations during the session were anything but boring. We explored some fun spots at Forest Hill Park and hardly anyone was there. It was so calm and peaceful around us! It was cloudy, but thankfully it didn’t rain. Even with the gloomy sky, we were able to get some really great images.
