Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fall 2022 Mini Sessions
VMFA Fall Minis
Richmond, Virginia
One of my favorite locations to photograph in Richmond is at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. I love the architecture of the Pauley Center and the sunset light is always beautiful during every season. This was my first time doing mini sessions and I learned a lot about how I want to continue doing them in the future. As a photographer, mini sessions are the perfect way to serve multiple families in just a couple hours. I definitely want to do spring minis next year when the trees and flowers are blooming! They went by quickly, but they were all so fun and all the families were so sweet.
I knew the forecast called for a cloudy day, but I didn’t expect it to rain during any part of the day. All of the families were so patient with me while we figured out whether we needed to reschedule. Luckily, it only drizzled a little bit, and all of my amazing families were willing to continue with their sessions despite the rain. Even though the sky was mostly cloudy, we still got some beautifully soft light. I’m so excited to share some of the images of these beautiful families!
