Jefferson Park and Church Hill Overlook 21st Birthday

Life is always a party with Jessy around! She brought so much life and energy to her birthday session. She’s strong, loyal, and kind. She even brought her cat, Soju, along to help her commemorate this exciting season of her life! I really admire how comfortable Jessy is with just being herself. From the day we first met during a leadership session with the Catholic Campus Ministry, Jessy wasn’t afraid to let her true personality show. I love that Jessy wanted me to capture all the in-between moments of taking photos during her session — they really show off her goofy side!
Finding the perfect location for this session took a while, but it was so worth it because the sunset light was so dreamy! We chose the Church Hill Overlook and Jefferson Park, which were both so pretty. After five years of living in Richmond, it was my first time at the overlook, and I was not disappointed by the view of the city! Even though the “1” balloon deflated, we still had a blast taking photos here!
Jessy, thank you for letting me capture this birthday with you! You are so funny and I’m so glad you were on my Campus Rep team this year. I already know that this next year of life for you will be so fulfilling for you!
