UF Grad Gabbie Martinez

UF senior Gabbie Martinez is about to embark on an exciting journey! With a degree in art history and a passion for medicine, she is headed to the University of South Florida to pursue her Master's degree before ultimately attending medical school.

I had so much fun photographing Gabbie and her cousin Daniella (Nella), along with their family, around the UF campus. Gabbie and Nella grew up closely together, so even though Nella doesn’t go to UF, she is also graduating this year from FIU, and it was important to them to capture this milestone together. We started at the iconic UF arch before making our way through campus and ending at Gator Walk. As we explored the campus, Gabbie shared her love of art history and how it inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. Her drive and dedication will undoubtedly lead her down a path of success.

Gabbie and Nella, congratulations on your graduation and your future pursuits! You are both an inspiration! You’ve already accomplished so much in your time in undergrad, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things you both accomplish in the future!
