UF Grad Sophia Lord

Sophia is a recent UF graduate who has some exciting plans for her post-graduate life! She will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina with her boyfriend, Ben, and dog, who also happens to be named Charlotte! Sophia has spent a lot of her time around the beautiful business school at Heavener Hall, so it was only fitting that her session was primarily around that area.

Sophia's journey at UF has not been without obstacles, but she’s learned to overcome difficulties and embrace challenges. She has grown so much during her undergrad years. In the beginning of her college journey, she was involved in Greek life. It was at a Greek life event that she met her boyfriend, Ben. They’ve dated long-distance for the majority of their relationship, so they are excited to be in the same city again soon. Sophia also recently got a dog, who she named Charlotte. Charlotte has quickly become an important part of Sophia's life. She loves taking her everywhere with her!

As she prepares to leave Gainesville, Sophia is excited about the opportunities that await her in Charlotte. Leaving UF behind will be bittersweet — friends and experiences will be greatly missed, but endless opportunities await to grow personally and professionally.

Sophia, thank you for letting me document this milestone for you! I had so much fun with you, Ben, and Charlotte. I know you will thrive in Charlotte and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
