Curtis Hixon Park and Centro Ybor Engagement Session Tampa Florida
Alison and Henrique
Tampa, Florida
What started as a dark, rainy day turned out to be the most gorgeous evening for Alison and Henrique’s engagement session in Tampa, Florida! The majority of my drive down was a torrential downpour, but we were very lucky that the weather showed up for us and created the most beautiful glow during the session.
We started in Centro Ybor, where you’ll find an eclectic mix of history, culture, and entertainment. It’s the perfect place for a date nights or friend hangouts. You can easily hop on the trolley from this location and explore all the best parts of Tampa. And if you’re a big fan of chickens like Alison, you’ll see plenty of them roaming the streets in Centro Ybor!
We made our way to the Tampa Riverwalk and Curtis Hixon Park just in time for the sunset. The park was filled with families, and watching the kids run around and have fun in the fountains made me wish my kids were there too! The glow of the sunlight was beautiful while we were there, and there was the perfect amount of cloud coverage to make the whole location soft and dreamy.
These two love birds are so excited for marriage, and I’m so excited for them! They have been patiently planning their wedding and are looking forward to celebrating with their closest friends and family. It is such a beautiful gift and sacrifice to commit one’s life to another through marriage, and I’m looking forward to witnessing these two become one!
Alison and Henrique, thank you so much for trusting me to document this short season of engagement for you two. I had so much fun hanging out with you and being your third wheel for a couple hours! You both did an amazing job taking photos for as long as we did in the Florida heat and you photograph so well! I can’t wait for your St. Pete wedding in November!!
