Windsor Way and VMFA Engagement
Diana and David
Richmond, Virginia
Diana and David met unexpectedly at a bar, Uptown Alley and have a fairytale love story. David spotted Diana from across the room and was immediately interested by her beauty and grace. He went over to talk to her, but according to David, Diana wasn’t interested. By the end of their conversation, she hurried out of the bar and left without any indication of liking David. They parted ways without having any contact information for each other, and didn’t even know each other’s last names.
Four weeks later, the two went back to the Uptown Alley hoping to find each other again. As fate would have it, David saw Diana, so he worked up the courage to go up to her, hoping to end the night with a better idea of whether Diana like him or not. They talked and danced for a while, and it became clear that there was chemistry between them.
On their first date, David rented out an entire theater for the two of them (just kidding… no one else came to the same movie). Ever since, the two have spent practically every day together! And when it came time to propose, David knew there was only one place to do it at — the bar where they first met. Diana was thrown off and surprised, but of course, said yes!
Diana and David, thank you for such a fun session and for being such troopers in the cold weather! Your love radiates in these photos and I hope you love them as much as I do! I’m so excited for your Dominion Club wedding at the end of the month!!
