Family Session at the Historic Thomas Center

This cute little family was so sweet to capture on camera. It was their first family session, and I am honored that they reached out to me to document this season of life. I know how stressful it can feel to be in front of the camera with a little one, especially for the first time, so I’m grateful that they asked me play a part in this stage of family life!

Krista and Mike fell in love at a young age. As high school sweethearts, many people would’ve called it puppy love and doubted the length of their relationship, but their bond has only grown and strengthened over the last decade. Few exist, yet they are often some of the most dedicated, loving, and happy couples I’ve met. Krista and Mike are so cute together and they have the sweetest little baby girl! Between the small glances they give each other, the way they treat each other, and the way they talk to each other speaks volumes about how much gentleness and love flows within their marriage. Little Mia is so lucky to have them as parents!

I actually went to high school with Krista and Mike, but our paths didn’t cross until this session. Mike even went to UF during the same years as me, and Krista’s mom knew my mom. It was so fun getting to know them and their story a little bit since I had only really known of them from a distance as we were growing up. After a stint in professional baseball, Mike is now finishing a Master’s degree in Sport Management, with plans to coach baseball after he’s done. Krista and Mike are a great team, so I know that wherever life takes them, they will reach their dreams and goals together.
