FOR INDIVIDUALS
From Baptisms to graduations to weddings, a white dress is a timeless and classic choice, symbolizing many milestones and transitions throughout a girl’s lifetime. There are so many styles and silhouettes, but white always looks great on camera, looks amazing on every skin tone, and fits in beautifully with any backdrop. You can never go wrong with wearing a white dress to your session!
Of course, if dresses aren’t your vibe, don’t let that stop you from expressing your style and personality. Pant suits or jumpsuits are super fun — you can dress them up with a pair of heels and some jewelry, or dress them down with cute sneakers. Whatever you decide, make sure you’re comfortable and confident!
FOR FRIEND GROUPS
If not everyone in your group is graduating or wants to wear white, I suggest sticking to 1-3 coordinating colors, depending on how big your group is. Many UF friend groups choose to wear shades of blues — not only because it’s one of the school’s brand colors, but it also looks amazing on every skin tone, photographs beautifully, and there are so many shades to choose from. I love the way lighter pastel tones look on camera, but navy is also a great option!
FOR GUYS
This is the perfect opportunity to pull out your suits, gentlemen! The way suits are tailored make you look sophisticated and masculine. Brown leather shoes will pair well with almost every look, and a jacket can be easily taken on and off for a variety of photos. If you don’t already have a suit, this is a great time to invest in one — you can wear it for interviews, date nights, to future weddings, and more!
No matter what you wear, the most important thing to remember is to dress in something that you feel confident in! Your confidence will shine through your photos when you wear an outfit you love.
